We’ve spent the last seven years travelling the wilds of Scotland, living in our campervan and calling the mountains, lochs, and glens home. As outdoor photographers, we’ve spent that time seeking out the most incredible places to explore and experience the best of Scotland.
We’ve put together these guides to share our love for the Highlands – starting with our personal vanlife map. It’s built from years of exploring Scotland in our campervan, and highlights the best spots we’ve found along the way. In the future, we’ll be expanding into regional adventure maps too – packed with places to explore, photograph, and experience the wild beauty of Scotland, with insight from our time on the ground.

The Vanlife Handbook
This is our personal handbook for life on the road – built over years of vanlife and packed with our favourite camp spots across the Highlands. You’ll also find info on public toilets, showers, water taps, bins, Calor gas stockists, and laundrettes. It’s not as jammed full as apps like Park4Night – we only include places we’ve actually used and genuinely rate. Every spot is vetted and approved by us.

About Us
Along with our cat Nyx, we’re full-time van-lifers, living a nomadic life on the road for the past 7 years. The Highlands have been our home for most of that time, though honestly, home is anywhere we park up for the night. We’ve taken the van all over the UK and even as far as Northern Norway, chasing adventures across winding mountain roads, wild coastlines, in just about every weather you can imagine. We’re both photographers, and our work has naturally pulled us towards the wildest corners of Scotland – always chasing that perfect bit of light, or a hidden spot that makes you stop and take it all in.
What started as weekend escapes quickly turned into a full-time obsession. We’ve spent years slowly exploring, not rushing, just enjoying the freedom that comes with life on the road. Somewhere along the way, the van life became less of an adventure and more of a lifestyle – one we’re still loving every day. It’s not always glamorous, but the simple moments more than make up for it. Sunrises over quiet lochs, evenings by the fire, and more than a few muddy boots along the way.
